Curtain
Measuring GuideMeasure before you order
Measuring for curtains is easy! All you need is your width and finished length.
Measure for your curtains using a metal tape measure.
Measure approximately 30cm extra on either side of the width of you window. Extending the track on either side of your window will allow room for the curtains to pull back neatly and will prevent loss of light to the room.
Width:
Using your curtain track option, choose the desired length. This will be your total width of your track.
Finished drop/curtain length – if you have already installed a curtain track:
Measure from the bottom of your track (from the top of the glider) to the required finished length or floor. If you choose to measure to the floor, allow 1-2cm clearance as this will allow the fabric to settle and drop.
Finished drop/curtain length – if you have not installed a curtain track:
Measure from the bottom of your ceiling or cornice to the required finished length or floor. Once your desired track option is made, all deductions will be made as follows: Type of curtain track (white racer track, or decorative track), and 1-2cm clearance to allow fabric to settle and drop.
